Distribution costs are reported to make
up more than 10% of Japan's GNP. And until now,
distribution systems have emphasized speed and cost. As
the industry matures, however, it moves not only parcels
but information as well. Thus we have entered the
just-in-time era, where parcels must be delivered at the
right time, in the right quantities. Fukuyama
Transporting has been able to consistently predict such
trends and tailor its services to meet such changing
needs.
In this regard, we now have more than 200 offices
throughout Japan, from Hokkaido to Okinawa. We have also
established an overseas network through our cooperation
with BAX Global. and DHL. Our air courier and air cargo
service extends to 184 countries around the world. In
addition, we are constantly upgrading our sea cargo
network to ensure that all of our customers' need are
met.
